Everything you need to know about Law Clinic.
The pro bono services are open to every indigent person residing in Kaduna state. An additional requirement is that the legal issue must have arisen in Kaduna state.
Applying for legal help can be done physically at the ABU Law Clinic located on the 2nd floor of the Faculty of Law ABU Zaria. One can also apply for legal aid via the clinic's website, after which he/she will be required to come to the clinic for further documentation and the legal aid.
The professional services offered by the ABU Law Clinic are completely free. The recipients of the Clinic's legal aid will only be required to offset the filling, service and transportation costs when necessary.
The legal services are provided by a joint team of experienced law students and practicing lawyers.
Volunteering at the ABU law clinic is open to undergraduate students of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, and practicing lawyers within Kaduna.For undergraduate law students, they would need to be registered as clinicians and be dedicated to the clinic's activities. For students from other faculties, they can only volunteer after being recognised by the clinic as the Faculty Ambassador(s) of the ABU law clinic.
